Which streak ends first - Philly losing or Golden State winning?

The NBA has scheduled an interesting Irony here where the Lakers are the key game for the Warriors to the set the winning record for season opening winning streaks and the Lakers are also very possibly the key game for the Sixers to set the season opening losing record.

Hard to project a win anytime soon for the Sixers given the strength of schedule to open has been against them AND they have significant injuries in the backcourt. They stand a very small chance of beating the Celtics, Rockets or Grizzlies on the road so there then stands the mighty Lakers for the record.

Philly is a decisive underdog every night and recently even though they held leads all game long against a quality opponent in the Heat and against theT-Wolves on the road they appear to have literally no NBA quality closers on offense to enable them to hold leads at the end.

The Warriors conversely have a very favorable schedule without a real test coming up any time soon except perhaps the Raptors on Dec. 5th.

If Golden State gets past that It's mostly losing or 500ish teams for a long time until they play the Cavaliers Dec. 25th!

If I were a conspiracy guy I'd almost think the NBA schedule makers set this up, at least the Sixers part anyway.

The Sixer's may have to get back at least one of their point guards to be able to close out a game in the last 5 minutes and seal a win.

Motivation of opponents is also an interesting question that could make this post moot pretty quickly.
For the Warriors to end soon some hungry team will have to upset the odds, beat the Warriors and spoil the party.
No doubt Kobe would love to do it tonight. Teams REALLY want to be the team to stop Curry & company.

On the other hand, teams REALLY don't want to be the 1st to lose to the Sixers this season either. Which incentive is higher?

This is actually a tough call for me but I think some middling type team has a better chance of knocking off the Warriors on an off night then the Sixers do of winning before they get one of their point guards back and look more like a serious NBA basketball team.

Right now the Sixers have roster talent but I'm going to say the back-court and wings are just too far over matched every night with the #1 and #2 point guards out for Philly. Add in that the shooting guards are not shooting consistently enough to count on them when Okafor is doubled and its hard for any Sixer fan to feel comfortable as the game comes near the end they have a lead.

Generally speaking guys have to hit at least few perimeter shots in the end to close out an NBA game.
So for that reason, I'm going to guess someone upsets GSW 1st.
