Christian Wood has made the Sixers' 15-man roster for opening night and Scottie Wilbekin will be waived, sources told Liberty Ballers. Philly will be on the hook for $200K guaranteed to Wilbekin.
Wood had impressed in preseason, compiling 31 points and 24 rebounds in 63 total minutes spanning five games. Wilbekin, meanwhile, had shot the ball impressively, converting on 10-of-27 attempts from deep, including a game-winning shot against Cleveland on Oct. 8.
Wilbekin was the third cut of the day, following Pierre Jackson and J.P. Tokoto. Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports has since reported that the team also let go of Turkish big man Furkan Aldemir, which would leave one cut to go before reaching the final roster limit due by 5 PM this evening.
UPDATE: Jordan McRae is the final cut, per Yahoo's Marc Spears (h/t - the comments section).
The Sixers cut McCrae, Tokoto, Wilbekin, Aldemir and Jackson, source told Yahoo.
