It's Getting Hot in Hurr: Scorching Sixers Win Second in a Row

The Sixers defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 103-94. With this win, they avoided the worst record in NBA history. Whew, that was close. For a second, I thought my favorite team was bad for basketball.

Justin Ford-USA TODAY Sports

Five players scored in double figures tonight, including a tidy effort from Nerlens Noel (14 points; 7-8 shooting) in a 103-94 victory over Minnesota. It was a balanced effort, including a 50% shooting aided by a porous Timberwolves defense. This was the first game the Sixers scored over 100 points since a March 5th, 1983 win against the Detroit Pistons.

Recap to follow.
