The red hot Pistons were just too much for the Sixers to handle on Saturday night. Detroit defeated Philadelphia at home by a final score of 107-89. The Sixers dropped to 8-32 with the loss.
The Pistons got off to a hot start with a barrage of three pointers from Brandon Jennings, Kyle Singler, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Big men Andre Drummond and Greg Monroe gave the Sixers fits on the glass.
Philly couldn't keep up with how well the Pistons were shooting. Detroit shot 15-35 (42.9%) from beyond while the Sixers shot a mere 7-28 (25.0%).
To make matters worse, the Sixers didn't take care of the ball. They finished with 22 turnovers.
Michael Carter-Williams led the Sixers in scoring with 15 points. Henry Sims finished second with 12.
