Some late-night news courtesy of Yahoo's Marc Spears - Larry Drew II will sign a 10-day contract with the 76ers:
D-League Sioux Falls guard Larry Drew will be signed to a 10-day contract with the Sixers tomorrow, a source told Yahoo.

The most likely role for Drew is as an emergency point guard. Tony Wroten missed Wednesday night's game against the Toronto Raptors with a knee sprain. Point JaKarr is fun and all, especially when blocking Kyle Lowry, but the Sixers could use extra insurance. They have an open roster spot due to Andrei Kirilenko's suspension from the team, so no player will need to be waived.
The Sixers bypassed a number of other options to claim a short-term NBA roster spot, including Delaware 87ers guards Nolan Smith and Malcolm Lee, along with guards like Tim Frazier which have ties to the team (back to summer league) or Bryce Cotton, who were previously noted targets.
Drew recorded 23 assists for the Sioux Falls Skyforce in December. He's the son of the former NBA player and head coach Larry Drew (who is now an assistant with the Cavaliers).
