This is it, folks. We finally made it. Sam Hinkie's rebuild took a little over a year and just like that-- the Sixers are on the doorstep from their first NBA Championship. Do I need to qualify that sentence by saying it's the Orlando Summer League? No, I don't think I do. It's safe to say this Sixers team as currently assembled could contend with any other seasonal league, even when it's chillier. Arizona Fall League, Billings Winter Hymnal League, Martha's Vineyard Spring Semi-Formal Mixer League... Casper Ware got em all on lock.
But today, it's the Memphis Grizzlies standing in our way. Jordan Adams and Jarnell Stokes are LB favorites from the Draft. They are now enemies. Jack Cooley and Dave Rueter are blood brothers. But in the Orlando Summer League, Gatorade is thicker than Notre Dame blood. Scottie Wilbekin plays for the Sixers starting tomorrow in the Las Vegas Summer League. Enemies will become friends eventually, but what do we say to Scottie Wilbekin and Death? Not today.

This is what we play for. Let's go win a championship, goddammit.
