You weren't with Jason Richardson when he was shooting in the gym yesterday, but no worries: He made sure to document the session on his Instagram page...

Those 455 jump shots were the first ones that Richardson has put up in an entire calendar year after undergoing surgery on his left knee last February. If you want to watch a former Slam Dunk champion shoot 18-footers while jumping four inches off of the ground, please feel free to click this link.
The 33-year-old Richardson is something of a forgotten man around these parts, but his 12-plus years of experience could ultimately prove to be an asset to a team that's on pace to be the youngest in the history of the NBA.
It's unreasonable to expect Richardson to have much of an impact on the court this year, but he could have a fair amount of value as a trade chip during the offseason. The former Michigan State shooting guard will likely exercise his $6.6 million player option for 2014-15, and it would be a shock if Sixers' GM Sam Hinkie doesn't move him before next year's trade deadline.
