The Sixers have traded Spencer Hawes to the Cleveland Cavaliers for two second round picks. With a few hours left until the Trade Deadline, Sam Hinkie has made his first move and it's going to set the tone for the rest of the day.
Philadelphia will receive two second round picks from Cavs for Hawes, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

Hawes expires at the end of the season, making him both valuable -- hey, off your books! -- and flighty -- a two-month rental, really. He'll help the Cavaliers in a playoff run as they're currently three games back of the 8th seed.
Cavs interim GM David Griffin must have been getting some pressure to push for that playoff spot. He could do worse than a few months of Hawes.
Imagine one of those picks will be Orlando's 2nd-rounder in 2014, which will be quite valuable. If both 2nd rounders are in 2014, that brings the Sixers total to five. HINKIE.
Spencer Hawes is not a Sixer anymore.
MORE LATER! AHHHHHH.
