76ers' Sunday Morning Shootaround - Fake Internet Outrage: Activated

Not everyone is on board with the Philadelphia 76ers' plan to build a perennial contender. So, in the interest of fairness, we've decided to showcase the opinion of an avid reader who has a bone to pick with Sixers' majority owner Joshua Harris.

Not everyone is on board with this man's plan to turn around the Philadelphia 76ers.

Hey, Josh Harris -

After Sam Hinkie gets done messing around with his Excel spreadsheets, the two of you should go outside and look into the sky. Just so you know, that's not the sun that you'll see, sir - that's what we call "the jig", and it's up, buddy.

My friends and I are done with having people call us out on Twitter. You aren't getting another dollar from us until you sell the team. We're not falling for your games or the banana in the tailpipe any more.

Speaking of games, it's not like you want us to go to them, anyway - sending out the wrong schedule was a nice touch, bro. You didn't even bother putting together a roster for Media Day. It obvious to anyone with half a brain that you plan to move the 76ers to New Jersey as soon as you can.

Maybe that's why you're letting Hinkie play fantasy basketball with your team. But last I checked, this isn't FanDuel, Sam - this is the NBA. If you really cared about winning, you might of been better off hiring someone like Isiah Thomas. He has two rings, so you know he knows what it takes to build a champion. How many championships has Hinkie's mentor Daryl Morey won in Houston? EXACTLY.

If Hinkie was so smart, he wouldn't of invited 23 guys to training camp. I guess his "analytics" didn't tell him that you can only have 20 players on the preseason roster, huh?

Speaking of which, I'm not sure why you cut Pierre Jackson. Can't wait until he signs with the Boston Celtics and sticks it to you next season. $400,000 for seven minutes of action in the Summer League? Nice work if you can get it. I'm glad you have money to burn like that - no wonder why you dropped 13 spots on the Forbes 400 this year. I played shooting guard at Bloomsburg before I blew out my knee as a sophomore - can I get $400,000?

This "Together We Build" thing sounds good and all, but I'm tired of hearing that you have three of the best young talents in the league. Just the other day, I learned that both Nerlens Noel and Joel Embiid have been hurt "a ton", and that Dario Saric will never come over here. Can't believe this team keeps wasting draft picks on guys who have no plans to come to America - this is like Petteri Koponen all over again.

And the thing is, when you do draft a guy who wants to play here (K.J. McDaniels), you only sign him to a one-year deal. I don't blame him: I wouldn't want to spend the next four years in Basketball Siberia on a rookie deal either. It's good that you have all that cap space: You're going to need it next season when McDaniels asks for seven years and $40 million.

I read that the new analytic kid Ben Falk was supposed to be the smartest guy in the room. If that's the case, then he must have been out on his lunch break when K.J. McDaniels' agent swindled you the other day. Did I miss something? Did you bring Billy King back as a consultant?

Now that I think about it, we should of kept Adam Aaron. He turned around Norwegian Cruise Line, so I know he could get this ship back on track. Instead, we got this Scott O'Neil guy who spends more time with the New Jersey Devils than he does with the Sixers. What... was Ed O'Neil not available?

Have fun driving your tank, Josh... my friends and I will be watching League Pass this season and picking out our new team before you move our Sixers to Newark.

#TogetherWeProtest

Sincerely yours,
