Dewayne Dedmon gets second 10-Day Contract from Sixers

Somebody had to take up the mantle once Brandon Davies had surgery on his athletic finger, sidelining him for over a month, and the Sixers decided to keep a good thing going and re-up from within. Dewayne Dedmon, who's impressed with rebounding and a Davies-like effort level, will be rewarded with another 10-day contract. If he lasts after this one, he'll be around for the whole season.

It doesn't completely erase the pain of a headbandless Sixers until March, but everybody likes a shiny thing, and DD hasn't totally worn on us yet. Good for him putting in the work.
