Welcome to another edition of Casual Friday Sixers Links!

There have been no more editions Colonial Classics Race since the epic first one. This saddens me to know end, but at least my dreams now have three less mascots haunting it. UPDATE: Swami87 in the comments has provided us with this update: "Justin, fear not, there was another Colonial Classic race against the Heat last Friday. I couldn't tell you who won because frankly i wasn't paying attention that much but I do remember those three "mascots" running around the court." Squeeeeeeee.

• Missing you, Brandon Davies. Get well soon, buddy. We'll miss your unique brand of tanking comedy.

• I brought up to everyone in the LB email threads how attractiveness is viewed through the golden ratio. This may explain why I'm single.

• Want to share some Sixers thoughts with the LB community? Write a FanPost. Do a good job on it and we may even promote it to the front page. I'll even link to it in the weekly links post too. You'll be famous!

From the FanPosts section....I wish I was this good of a writer.

'Survivor: Cagayan': New cast includes former NBA All-Star (and recent North Korea visitor) Cliff Robinson - Entertainment Weekly
If Cliff Robinson in Cagayan is half as funny as Jeff Kent in the Philippines or Gary Hogeboom in Guatemala, this is going to be can't miss TV. (P.S. I am a long-term Survivor fan, it being one of the few TV shows I watch that are not sports related; come at me, Levin!)

Youngbloods: Rookie Power Rankings for 1/23/2014 - Sonics Rising
I'm not usually one to care about awards but I may cry tears of joy if MCW wins rookie of the year.

There is *A LOT* in here, so much so that I had to read through it twice. Royce talks basketball, Hinkie, and playing in the NBA with a mental illness, and it is a must read.

REMINDER - RULES OF THE THREAD: As long as you keep it clean (no cursing and please remember to bathe in the ocean if you find yourself playing Survivor while threading) and respectful, it's fair game. It's your thread - use it as you see fit.

Now, discuss! Happy Friday!
