There's a time in every man's life when his will is truly tested. This is mine.
#Sixers Brett Brown: Davies 'had successful surgery' on dislocated finger. Expected to miss 4-6 weeks.— Tom Moore (@tmoore76ers) January 22, 2014
The world broke him. They hit him in the only place it could possibly hurt: his shooting finger. He and his finger were just trying to make it in this society and everybody's just trying to keep a good-natured man down. Brandon Davies is the best of us. The cot damn best one among us.
At least surgery was successful and I should be able to occupy myself on trade machine for 4-6 weeks until he recovers, half-man, half-machine, half-superhuman finger. Just checking, who was the doctor that performed this successful surgery?
#Sixers say Brandon Davies' surgery performed by Dr. Lawrence Scott Levin, Chairman of Orthopedic Surgery at University of Pennsylvania— Christopher A. Vito (@ChrisVito) January 22, 2014
I'm gonna go listen to the Inside Llewyn Davis soundtrack on vinyl and stare off into the distance.
Will leave you with this lie:
Arnett Moultrie could debut "as early as next two weeks," #Sixers coach Brett Brown said— Christopher A. Vito (@ChrisVito) January 22, 2014
