This is sort of like a reverse Survivor, where the good players get kicked off the island, and the lesser ones keep getting added. You, the readers, apparently formed a pact with the Croatian sensation Dario Saric, awarding him 44% of the vote. Dario now gets to leave the island and return home to his bed and some homemade schnitzel breaded veal.
Frankly, I'm somewhat surprised the LB faithful is so much behind a guy we know little about and have only seen in short Youtube clips set to drill music. Despite standing at 6'10", I can't tell whether he's best suited at the three or four. He looks strong in the low block, although his post moves aren't all that special. His shooting has improved from the outside over the course of a year, but still seems rather streaky. I think in the NBA he is probably best suited as a point forward; his handles look pretty superb and he won't be the easiest to stop coming down the lane.
My concerns with him mostly are about him coming and staying in the NBA, as he, his agent, and his crazy father are really complicating things. But that doesn't take away from how good he is, and is definitely worthy of being considered a top ten talent.
Jusuf Nurkic joins the voting fray all the way from the Adriatic League. Left over are Nik Stauskas (who garnered 26% of the vote), Doug McDermott, Zach LaVine, Gary Harris, and James Young. Stauskas is a stone cold killer from three, but the rest of his game needs work. At 10, I'd place my vote for Creighton's McDermott. A weapon from all over the floor, and a half decent small ball four if needed. Levin, I don't want to hear your shit.
