The Cleveland Cavaliers came away from the 2014 NBA Draft Lottery with the #1 pick in the draft. The media was immediately pumping their sources for information, and let me tell you, what they discovered can be treated as gospel and as close to a guarantee as we can get to what they'll do next month.
Report: Andrew Wiggins the Cavaliers’ likely choice at No. 1 http://t.co/WhNOdQaa4m

And it's likely gonna be Wiggins. That makes sense, with that kind of athleticism, there are almost no other options.
It's early, but the Cleveland Cavs favor Joel Embiid right now for the No. 1 overall pick, sources told ESPN: http://t.co/IzTpsDrhX1

That's that-- it'll probably be Joel Embiid then. Can't teach size, a 2-way dominant center. If the back checks out, that's for sure the pick.
In case you're wondering, Jabari Parker has been at the top of #Cavs draft board much of the season.

Yep, can't say no to that kind of scoring at the top of your board. The NBA is about buckets and nobody gets more buckets than Jabari Parker. Milwaukee will also select All Of Them with the 2nd pick.
Some rules that the Liberty Ballers community should follow, because even though the internet is a reactionary, insane place, we are highbrow as hell and you're better than that.
-- Accept rumors as what they are. Rumors. Conjecture and posturing are all part of the draft process. Don't treat anything anybody says as fact. Especially when it comes to what Sam Hinkie wants -- he plays things so close to the vest, he has a whole ballroom just for all his vests.
-- Everyone is good. Wiggins, Embiid, Parker, Dante Exum-- every one of them is very, very good. You may disagree on how they profile at the next level and the order you put them in, but all four of those human beings are extremely talented basketball players. None of them secretly suck. When the Sixers end up with one of them, it will be tremendous.
-- Be good to each other. I trust Sam Hinkie's judgment more than I trust my own, and I assume you guys do too. Whoever he picks, we're gonna get on board with it. You don't want to be the dickhole who yells about there being no way Hinkie takes a certain guy, and then he does. Ultimately, we all want the same thing. Let's all be civil and excited about the guys we're excited about, and then on June 26th, we'll know which of them are gonna be parading us down Broad Street in 2017.
It's the best time of year. Let's have fun with it.
