The 76ers will be taking another look at a big man, as they have agreed to add former Temple center Micheal Eric to their summer league roster, multiple sources have told Liberty Ballers.
Eric last played for the Canton Charge of the D-League, averaging 8.6 points and 7.5 rebounds in 22.1 minutes per game. He also blocked 1.7 shots per game and shot 52% from the floor. He went on to average 17 points and 5.7 rebounds in 3 playoff games for the Charge.
Eric last played collegiately at Temple, finishing up a 4 year career at the school. He averaged 9.0 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game in 25.1 minutes.
Eric, primarily known as a defensive played, played primarily around the hoop offensively. He made more of an effort to add a perimeter attack to his game at the D-League, but struggled to score efficiently on jump shots.
We will have more information on signings and summer league invitations throughout the day as they come in.
