I like Ben McLemore. He plays the game in a way that pleases me. It seems like he'll be a Super Role Player. Not like, Eduardo Najera or something. He's going to play efficient basketball in every area for a lot of years. I just worry that he won't assert himself enough to become a star, though I'm cool with him finishing second on our board.
Nothing wrong with that in the 2013 NBA Draft, which I'm starting to think is just an all-you-can-eat buffet. Sure there's a lot of food and you can get like crabs or lasagna or runny custard, but it's all pretty shitty. Quantity over quality, it seems. Hooray 2013!
I won't be adding anybody to the voting this time around, since I added both Trey Burke and Alex Len last time around. They joined Otto Porter and Victor Oladipo, who came the closest to McLemore's nearly half of the vote, as well as Anthony Bennett, who I can't help but compare to Zach Randolph, however misguided that may be.
And a Happy Memorial Day to you all. I urge you to have a good day. I spent yesterday getting into Andrew Bynum arguments with old, stubborn guys. It caused me much pain and suffering. Read the emphatic return of the Remember This Guy series, aptly coming back on Memorial Day (my idea!). It's Vrnan Maxwall, so you'll want to Pank yourself over there.
