According to Adrian Wojnarowski, The 76ers have received permission to interview Mike Malone and Jeff Hornacek.

Mike Malone has previously been rumored. He is an assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors and has also been with New Orleans and Cleveland.

Hornacek, most famous around these parts as the main piece of the infamous Charles Barkley trade, has been an assistant with the Utah Jazz for two years. He's also reportedly a candidate for the Phoenix job, where he still has a home and where he played before being traded to the 76ers.

Wojnarowski also lists the previously discussed Brian Shaw as a possibility. Lionel Hollis as possibilities, should the Grizzlies and Hollins not be able to come to terms on a contract, could also be in the mix.

Wojnarowski says that the interview process could begin next week. There are some difficulties in this, as the Grizzlies, Warriors, and Pacers are all involved in a playoff series, and all either up 3-2 or tied 2-2, giving them a strong possibility of advancing. The teams could grant the Sixers the ability to interview the coaches on an off day, however.

Of the names mentioned, it sounds like Shaw and Malone could be at the top of the list.
