The Clippers were simply too much for the Sixers to handle.

The Sixers recent run of improved play ended tonight with a loss to the Clippers. Rejoice, all ye tankers.

The game wasn't particularly interesting. By the end of the first half, the score was 46-36 in favor of the Clips. The Sixers hung close but never seriously threatened for the lead. Highlights included by a Caron Butler poster over Spencer Hawes, a Blake Griffin poster over Spencer Hawes, and, to no surprise, various other high-flying Clippers dunks and alley-oops. Oh and former Sixer Maalik "Sheep" Wayns even made an appearance!

The home team's lead grew in the second half, and they never looked back from there.

The Clippers were led by Chris Paul (19 points, 9 assists, 5 steals) and Caron Butler (14 points, 6 rebounds).

Sixers leaders included Spencer Hawes (16 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists) and Thaddeus Young (13 points, 8 rebounds).

The Sixers play 3 more road games (Nuggets, Kings, Jazz) before returning home to face the Bucks on March 27.

Full recap will be up in the morning.
