Quick hits:

  • After tonight, there's only 16 games left of this thoroughly enjoyable miserable season. I don't think it can end soon enough for my liking. Only 4 of those remaining 16 are at home.
  • Portland is a lot worse on the road (9-23) than they are at home (22-11). With the game taking place in Philly, this doesn't bode well for any Sixers tanking efforts. The Trail Blazers are 6-4 in their last 10 and are only a few games out of the glorious Western Conference 8th seed playoff spot. Come on, Blazers, play hard, we know you want it!
  • Should Spencer Hawes continue his recent success, highlighted by a near quadruple-double against the Pacers the other night, it's clear that he's preventing the Sixers from tanking. This is why he was awarded with the city key to Philadelphia.
  • Blazers rookie PG Damian Lillard is fun to watch.

Sounds like some Blazers fans on their site wouldn't mind trading for Hawes in the off-season.
