Post Game Thread: Sixers Lose To Kyrie Show In 2OT

Too much Kyrie, not enough Sixers late in the game.

Howard Smith-USA TODAY Sports

It was a valiant effort from the Sixers, but they were no match for the incredible second half performance of Kyrie Irving.

The third year player from Duke turned it on tonight, with 32 points on 13-27 shooting. Can't win them all (and some would argue they definitely shouldn't), but this game feels like it slipped out of the Sixers grasp.

Once again, Michael Carter-Williams, Evan Turner, Thaddeus Young, and Spencer Hawes all stepped up, scoring in double digits, but simply did not do enough in two overtime periods for the Sixers to win their second in a row.

Carter-Williams three pointer with a hand in his face to tie the game late in the second overtime was almost as good as the Sixers winning. Almost.

Stay and chat about tonight's game for a while. Unless you're exhausted, then I understand. Recap coming up as soon as I can find my inhaler.
