The first time the Philadelphia 76ers played the Thunder this year they played an exciting evenly matched game. This game was neither, as after a slow but close first half, the Thunder pulled away in the second half to give them a resounding 109-85 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. It is important to note the Sixers only trailed by 4 at halftime. Imagine how ugly this would have been if the Sixers did not play a tight first half.

Russell Westbrook led all scorers with 27 points. Kevin Durant was not far behind with 26 points. Nick Young led the Sixers with 21 points. Dave led the game thread with most beers drank.

For the Sixers, this West Coast road trip is mercifully almost over. All that is left is one more game against.......ah geez, the San Antonio Spurs. The Sixers are currently 15-19. 15-20 is on the horizon. Andrew Bynum is still kneeless. Spencer Hawes is still talentless. Doug Collins is still clueless.

Mediocracy forever.
