BEST OF LIBERTY BALLERS:
A Sixersy 2012: The Liberty Ballers Year-End Review
Feeling reflective? You bet! Well, this year didn't lack in excitement for our ill-fated 76ers. Not quite success or philosophical perfection, but a lot of important steps were taken on a number of different fronts that should have Sixers fans looking favorably back on the year of John Cusack, 2012. And that's only slightly dependent on the health of Andrew Bynum and whether or not Kwame Brown picks up his second year option.
Big Trouble in Little Sixers: Hello Tanking My Old Friend
The conversation becomes: do we want them to make the playoffs this year? I've contended since the Bynum trade that wins and losses were less important than the development of Jrue Holiday and Evan Turner and their chemistry with the big guy. But that was assuming Bynum would be healthy and they would at least be hovering around the 4-seed in the East. Now that that isn't the case, what's best for the future of the franchise?
76ers Sunday Morning Shootaround: The Furry Boots Edition
If you were to go through all of the Sixers' social media posts for the past week and find the funniest ones, it would take a long time. So we do it for you.

Some potential D-League call-ups for your consideration - The Basketball Jones
Starting January 5th, NBA teams can sign free agents to 10-day contracts. And while there’s nothing that demands those 10-day contract signees need come from the NBA D-League, it logically follows that it’s a good place to start looking. Whether a team is struggling and looking for new blood, or just looking for injury cover, the seamless call-up system allows them to plunder the D-League for reinforcements for a week and a half, as an extended midseason tryout. Here’s a list of the top call-up candidates, in no order other than when they were thought of.
Is Jrue Holiday an All-Star? Breaking Down the Damaja's Mid-Season Qualifications - The 700 Level
It's pretty cool to even be talking about All-Star consideration for one of our young, homegrown guys this season. It took Andre Iguodala eight years and a lucky hot start from the Sixers to be given even strong consideration for the All-Star team, but this year, fourth-year point guard Jrue Holiday is putting up career-best, Most Improved Player-type numbers that have forced his name into the discussion. However, the Damaja's case is far from cut and dry, so let's analyze his chances from five relevant factors and see what kind of odds he has of making it to H-Town this All-Star Weekend:
The Evster’s Year-End Best-Of 2012 Sixers Award Thingies - The 700 Level
The New Year is all about reflecting on the past, looking forward to the future, and according to my wife: not shaving your legs until mid March/early April. So seeing that this is the time for Best Of columns (and because I couldn’t think of a decent thread for this post), here are my Year-End awards for your hometown Philadorphlia Seventy Sorxers!
Holiday meeting Sixers' raised expectations - CSN Philly
Should Jrue Holiday be an All-Star?
Sixers' Damien Wilkins: Hoops is in his blood - Philly.com
He has played in only a little more than half of the 76ers' games this season, and when he does see the court, it is usually for very limited minutes. But few players, especially ones in his limited playing role, are as tuned in to the game as Damien Wilkins.
(Because who doesn't love a good Damien Wilkins column!?)

REMINDER - RULES OF THE THREAD: As long as you keep it clean (no cursing and please remember to bathe before threading) and avoid touchy subjects like religion/politics/etc, it's fair game. It's your thread - use it as you see fit.
Now, discuss! Happy Friday!
