While Mike was shaving and I was finally putting a shirt on, Adrain Wojnarowski decided to do real work and reported that former number one draft pick and VETERAN BIG-MAN Kwame Brown has agreed to a 2-year, $6 million deal with the Sixers (2nd year is player option).
This lovely piece of news coming just hours after Bob Cooney tweeted that Doug Collins wanted another big man in order to move Spencer Hawes over the 4 and that Collins didn't want the pressure of replacing Elton Brand in the starting lineup with Lavoy Allen. Mike had some very mild thoughts on this subject earlier today if you'd like to take a gander.
From what Cooney relayed earlier today, I'm inclined to think that the Sixers will come out opening night with a starting lineup that includes both Kwame and Spence. Together. On the same floor. On the same team. In real life.
This is going to be a glorious drive to Vegas.
