Have your bag of smelling salts at the ready. Chris Vito tells us that the Sixers will not make themselves available for an Andrew Bynum update until 5:30 PM today when Tony DiLeo speaks to the media. This is the kind of move that reeks of bad news they want to sweep under the rug. Well, the rug isn't big enough to conceal this massive shit.
Previously they had said the news would come out Thursday the 20th, then the morning of Friday the 21st, and now, well, we're screwed. I'm not ready to declare the Bynum Era dead, especially since it never started, but I'm sipping on that Negadelphian Purple Drank and it seems like there's a good reason for that.
Sixers 5:30 Presser: "Hey guys, glad the world's not over, happy friday, bynum's dead, oh look it's lou williams, want some donuts?"

If things go how it looks like they'll go, the season is pretty much lost. Hope you guys are excited by Monta Ellis or Josh Smith. Anybody have a spare ice pick I can lodge in my eye?
