Andrew Bynum Talking and Talking and Talking

He's auditioning for the part of the new generation's Mouth of the South.

oh boy.
oh boy.
Howard Smith-USA TODAY Sports

The Sixers got beat bad by the Lakers last night. It's happened a few times recently and I hope your eyes are used to the feeling because it's going to happen a lot more often. They're 12-12. Jrue Holiday is hurt. Andrew Bynum is still not playing. But that hasn't stopped him from being himself. And when his old pal Laker reporters came to town yesterday, he really couldn't resist whipping it out in front of them.

I thought I was able to get the ball more and do more things with the ball, so I could definitely see how at the end it could stunt growth. Winning championships there was fun. But obviously my time there is done. Health is the main concern with me now.

I don't regret anything. Personally, they traded No. 1 for No. 2 and that is what happened.

I think Dwight's a great player, but he's going to have to get accustomed to playing with Kobe obviously, and not touching the ball every single play.

So, that.

Listen I love that Andrew is Andrew. If you're not going to be Tim Duncan or Steve Nash or Thaddeus Young, at least be unique. Be different. Andrew is certainly different. Iverson was different. I'm glad he's not Glenn Robinson or Keith Van Horn. I'm thrilled, actually.

But there's no need for this. Drew, you're not playing. You're sitting on your ass and trying out different haircuts. Now is not the time to talk smack. You are making a buttload of money to wear suits. You and I have the same amount of points this season. You do not exist in this reality yet. Just chill.

December 20th is this Thursday. We've got ourselves a minor update to tide us over until then. And it's not bad!

I am feeling much better obviously, and when I see the doctor, hopefully, I will be cleared for impact. My right knee is fine.

Alright, bro. I believe you. I have to believe you. Or I at least believe in the idea of you. He said he's excited to play in any game at this point. I hope he's pooping regularly. Green veggies, the whole bit.

The Sixers are going to keep losing until he gets back. They might win a few games here and there. But they will be losing. Losing and losing and losing. It's a Battle Royale of Attrition and the Sixers will get Crash Holly'd over the top rope right after the opening bell if they don't hear something really good on Thursday.

Thursday.
