That. Was. Ugly.
There is no other way to put it. That was a horrible display of basketball from the Sixers and that the game was not decided until the final 15 seconds speaks more to the Bulls and Lady Luck than it does to how the Sixers played this game. They had no business being in this game. They had no business having a chance to win this. They just had no business being competitive tonight.
But thanks to some decent second half play from Thad Young, the Sixers were able to overcome a horrible night by just about everyone else. Spencer Hawes was bad even for him. Evan Turner struggled from the field despite making a gorgeous shot in the first half. Jrue Holiday led the team with 23 points on 9-17 shooting. Luol Deng led the game with 25 points on 10-16 shooting in 42 minutes. I led the city with 17 ounces of blood lost via dripping from eyelids.
Oh, the final score. Sixers lost 93-88.
