Draft Express 2011 NBA Mock Draft Update

The best NBA Draft site out there, Draft Express, has presumably posted their final mock draft with all the latest news and updates. Sadly, they have the Sixers selecting Nikola Vucevic, the center from USC. If you listened to our wildly entertaining podcast yesterday, you know we here at Liberty Ballers are not too high on the big man from Southern California, which probably guarantees his selection with the 16th pick.

Tanner likes him because he "beasted" during the one game he was in attendance for. He's also the best-passing, most un-athletic big man since Spencer Hawes, so it's hard not to get excited about the prospects of him becoming a Sixer.

DX is usually pretty on with their stuff, and I've heard from multiple people the Sixers fancy Nikola at 16, assuming a note-worthy player like Jonas Valanciunas or Bismack Biyombo doesn't surprisingly fall into the Sixers laps. Let's hope not. He ranks 19 on our LB Big Board.

Update: Chad Ford's latest mock has Alec Burks sliding to the Sixers but passing him up for Jordan Hamilton. That would be tough to swallow.
