Pistons vs 76ers coverage
After tonight, we say goodbye to the regular season and move onward to greener pastures
It's the last game of the regular season tonight in Philly and there's zero/zilch/nada/the amount of cash I have in my wallet on the line for either team. Andre Iguodala will miss his second straight game and will be replaced with not Evan Turner, but rather Andres Nocioni in the starting lineup.
This is the final chance for the Sixers to secure an above .500 record on the season; something that hasn't happened since the 2004-2005 season (that's almost 6 years!). While it really doesn't mean anything at all, it certainly would be a nice moral victory for the team and loyal supporters (OMG that's a soccer term!).
The last time these two teams met the Pistons had an absurdly depleted roster because of immature, childish antics lead by Tracy McGrady, Rodney Stuckey, Austin Daye, Ben Wallace, and Chris Wilcox. Will Bynum went off while he had the chance lighting up the Sixers defense for 29 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds. Charlie Villanueva did not go ballistic during that game and he certainly won't tonight as the NBA recently handed down a 5 game suspension on the former UCONN star.
Last regular game of the year before the playoffs. Have at it gents!
But I don't wanna be a cowboy!
GO SIXERS AND MEANINGLESS GAMES!
