As everyone's favorite blood guy and serial killer Dexter Morgan says, "tonight's the night".
After pulling the huge upset over the Chicago Bulls at home, the Sixers find themselves with their magic number at 2. All that needs to happen is for the Sixers to take care of the Houston Rockets tonight at home and get a little help from our pals in Cleveland to beat Charlotte and that is it. Cleveland just pulled an upset over LeBron James and the Miami Heat -- can they do it again versus the much less spectacular Bobcats?
Houston, despite being at the bottom of the Southwest Division, has a better record than the Sixers at 39-35 yet sits two games back of Memphis for that final playoff spot in the West. They've gone 7-3 in their last ten, so there is absolutely nothing certain about either of tonight's matchups. But this is the first day since April of 2009 that these Sixers had an opportunity to clinch a playoff spot, and that is certainly worth celebrating.
So what should you do if the Sixers do clinch tonight? Well, here are some possible celebrations. Let's put it to a vote.
