Trade Deadline Countdown Day 6: 4 team, 11 player blockbuster

With 2 days left until the NBA trade deadline, the Liberty Ballers crew will provide 1 trade proposal per day for discussion.  They may range from the absurd trades to revamp the roster to adding veteranacity to improve a playoff run.  This proposal is closer to the former.

Disclaimer 1: I'm an Andre Iguodala fan, and think he's underrated.  My inclusion of Andre Iguodala in a trade isn't my wanting to run him out of town, merely me throwing out different hypothetical proposals to stir discussion during a down time in the NBA schedule.

Disclaimer 2: I'm not pretending this would happen.  In contrast to my previous proposal, which was a subdued trade to try to get under the cap enough for a max contract (which most people hated), this is outlandish.  I tried to take all teams into account somewhat, and combined a few existing rumors, but I'm under no delusion that this has a chance of happening.

Note: The trade machine still has Gallinari on the Knicks roster, which is why the're included.  Just pretend they're the Nuggets.  They are both over the cap, and Gallinari has to be the only outgoing player on the Nuggets, so it should still work.

Nuggets Trade:

Danillo Gallinari

Nuggets Receive:

Thaddeus Young

Philadephia 76ers 2011 1st round pick

Sixers Trade:

Andre Iguodala

Marreese Speights

Tony Battie

Sixers Receive:

Danilo Gallinari

Johan Petro

Nets Trade:

Derrick Favors

Troy Murphy

Devin Harris

Johan Petro

Nets Receive:

Andre Iguodala

Jodie Meeks

Jamal Crawford

Tony Battie

Hawks 2011 first round pick

Hawks Trade:

Jamal Crawford

2011 1st round pick

Hawks Receive:

Devin Harris

Marreese Speights

The Hawks do this for an upgrade at the point, providing them with a long term solution (at a reasonable price) at point guard that they previously lacked.

The Nets are looking to get out of Harris' contract, and add the best player in the deal in Andre Iguodala.  They also could be interesting in own Jamal Crawford's bird rights heading into free agency, and they have reportedly inquired about a Crawford for Harris swap.  They also shed Petro's deal which has 2 years remaining after this one.  The combination of losing Petro's and Harris deal ($36.9 million in committed salary, including this year) helps take some of the brunt over Iguodala's deal ($49.2 million).

Plus, they get another first round pick.  Billy King seems to love stockpiling the first round picks this year.  This trade would leave them with Iguodala, Lopez, 8 gazillion picks and cap space to build on.

The Sixers get to open up room for Evan Turner to shine, while adding a very good catch and shoot player to open things up for Turner and Jrue Holiday, get their young defensive big man to build around, and shed salary.

The Nuggets move Gallinari, and there are currently conflicting reports about his availability, while getting a player who can help them now, and also get a mid first round pick.
