Basketball? Actual basketball will played? Believe it or not, it's true. Our very own Philadelphia 76ers will be in action tonight against John Wall and the Washington Wizards, who will be unveiling their new digs on their home court.
A pre-season game in December feels so wrong. I don't know what to expect, to be honest. Who will be in shape? Who won't be? Will the Sixers pick right back up where they left off in April when they played the Heat about as tough as anyone could have expected? I don't know. These are some of the questions that we should be able to answer after tonight's game.
Make the jump for a few more things to keep an eye on. Bare with me, it's been a while.
Things to watch:
- Evan Turner's new jump shot
- Our boy, undrafted free agent Xavier Silas
- Andre Iguodala's health
- Jrue Holiday's improvement
- The first look at rookies Nikola Vucevic and LaVoy Allen
- Who starts at shooting guard?
- The benefits of Marreese Speights' grueling off-season work outs

Check out Bullets Forever for Wizards coverage, this picture for a little tease, and these videos for your Sixers fix. Listening to the Boss conduct an interview makes the world stand still. Bonus: Here's a pic of Jrue Holiday's gameday sneakers via Twitter.
Thread it up later? I almost forgot how this works.
Go Sixers!
