According to Bob Cooney, Andres Nocioni will miss time to allow his fractured finger to heal. Nocioni has attempted to play in the 3 games since injuring the finger, but has scored only 5 points in the 58 minutes during that span.
"I think we're going to shut 'Noc' down a little bit," said Collins. "I think he'd like to shut it down for a little bit and get that hand under control."
No timetable has been set for his return, outside of allowing time for the finger to heal. Nocioni had been averaging 26 minutes per night in the 7 games prior to his injury. The loss of Nocioni in the lineup should mean increased minutes for Evan Turner, who despite playing only 10 minutes against the Bucks has played 26 or more minutes in 8 of the last 10 games.
