Let me introduce you to operationWTF, a spin-off of the ever-so-popular missionwtf. Including today, the NBA draft lottery is exactly 30 days away. Because I have nothing better to do, I'm going to run ESPN's draft lottery simulator once a day until then, and post the results.
Is this a pointless waste of time? Maybe, but consider this. As Sixers fans, the draft lottery is our championship. This little operation here will prepare us for the 30 minute-hurricane of emotions expected to come our way that fateful evening. Assuming every possible scenario plays out over the next 30 days, we'll know how to react if we get a top 3 pick, the 6th pick, the 7th pick, or 8th/9th. Or we won't, and this is just a pointless waste of time.
A wise man once said, "You can get a good look at a butcher's ass by sticking your head up there. But, wouldn't you rather to take his word for it?" I couldn't have said it better myself.
Here are the results for day 1 ...
The 6th pick and Al-Farouq Aminu. React accordingly. Is this the guy you want, assuming WTF, Cousins, Wes go top 5?
