Bobcats vs 76ers coverage
We're playing a team from North Carolina, come on and raise up!
After a fourth quarter collapse of epic proportions, the Sixers come back home to take on the most exciting team to watch in the NBA, the Charlotte Robertfelines.
Larry Brown returns to the city of Philadelphia yet again, but thankfully there will be no talk about him making a return to the Sixers organization like there was last season. As one might expect from Brown and the Bobcats, they come in owning the sixth slowest pace in the NBA to date. Also unsurprisingly, the Bobcats are 22nd in offensive rating and 11th in defensive rating.
Last night, the Bobcats went into overtime with the Nets and came out on top with a 91-84 victory. Yes, you read that right, that was the final score after an overtime. The Sixers have managed to score above 90 in just one of the last five games, so if you were hoping for a track meet tonight, this probably isn't the game to watch.
Jersey Shore expert Jordan Sams guaranteed a Sixers victory tonight. His reasoning?
Guaranteeing a Sixers win tomorrow. Bobcats suck + suck even more on the road + played OT tonight.
Knowing he guaranteed a win, expect a Bobcats double-digit blowout. I'm JK'ing. I also see a victory on the Sixers horizon tonight despite top-5 player in the league Stephen Jackson being on Charlotte.
In D-League news, Craig Brackins will play in his second game with the Springfield Armor tonight against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (not Aunts). That game starts at 7 so if you'd rather watch uptempo basketball, there's always that. Watch for free on NBA Futurecast from NBA.com/dleague.
Go Craig Brackins and SIXERS..... I guess.
PS: Happy Birthday to Jay-Z! What's that, Hova? Oh. You're Welcome!
Thread it up.
