Below are a few key advanced stats accumulated by Evan Turner and the rookies the Sixers passed up to take him.
MP | PER | TS% | TRB% | AST% | USG% | ORtg | WS/48 | |
Evan Turner | 133 | 11.0 | .512 | 12.1 | 16.9 | 18.7 | 93 | 0.046 |
Derrick Favors | 88 | 24.7 | .644 | 26.3 | 2.2 | 18.5 | 136 | 0.279 |
DeMarcus Cousins | 113 | 19.2 | .529 | 16.3 | 12.5 | 27.2 | 111 | 0.125 |
Wesley Johnson | 124 | 10.2 | .427 | 8.6 | 14.9 | 22.7 | 91 | -0.039 |
Favors clearly holds the advantage through 5 games, but that's all it is. Five games. Keep that in mind. Also keep in mind the incredibly different situations and roles each player has on their respective teams, and the unique learning curves.
Since we spent so much time discussing who the Sixers should and shouldn't take during the off-season, it felt appropriate to keep tabs on the rookies throughout the season. I'll post a snapshot of these advanced stats every 5 or 10 games and my ranking based solely on how they've performed thus far.
My ranking as of 11/05/10:
- Derrick Favors
- DeMarcus Cousins
- Evan Turner
- Wesley Johnson
