Up seven with 15 seconds left the Sixers looked well on their way to their first pre-season win. Then Anthony Morrow, Jordan Farmar and Stephen Graham (a three at the buzzer) happened, and the Sixers found themselves 0-3 after three pre-season games. Thankfully these games don't count, and luckily this embarrassment wasn't televised.
Based on the box score Evan Turner played his best game in a Sixers uniform. In 39 minutes he had 14 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds and 6 steals. He didn't shoot particularly well from the field (4-10), but made up for it at the line (6-6). He added a block and +11 in the +/- stat for good measure. Through three games Turner only has 4 total turnovers – a good sign for a guy who turned it over a lot in college.
Iguodala led the team in scoring with 20.
Lou Williams got to the line 12 times in 24 minutes.
Jrue continued his disappointing pre-season. He was 2-9 from the floor, 0-2 from three and 1-3 from the line, including two misses with 12 seconds left, leaving the door open for the Nets comeback. He also tied for the team-lead with 3 turnovers and led the team with five fouls. He only recorded two assists.
Elton finished with 8 points, 11 rebounds against Favors and Lopez. And Thad turned in a solid 16 point, 7 rebound effort.
