The Bobcats are fighting just as hard for playoff positioning as the Sixers. They're currently the ninth seed, three games back of Detroit.

This is a must-win for the Sixers if they want any chance at the four seed. They absolutely have to beat the teams their supposed to, especially at home.

The Sixers are fourth in the NBA in steals and the Bobcats have the highest turnover ratio in the league. This bodes extremely well for the Sixers desire to force turnovers and get out on the break. Expect a lot of fast breakin' from Philly.

Game to keep an eye on: Boston @ Atlanta. A Sixers win and a Hawks loss would cut Atlanta's lead on the Sixers to just three games.

Check out Jordan Raanan's article on Thad becoming the go-to guy.

“Andre Miller is always telling me to be more aggressive, take my man to the hoop and don’t hesitate. Just go and do your thing,” Young said. “That shows he has a lot of confidence in me. Andre Iguodala is always telling me to come and get the ball and I’ll move out of the way.”

The sooner the Sixers realize how dangerous Thad can be on offense, the sooner he starts taking over games with his quickness, silky smooth jumper and awkward post game. When he's on, the Sixers half-court offense is that much better.

And this is kind of cool. NBA.com has an 'Inside Practice' special on the Sixers. Thaddeus, Theophilus and Tony D talk about tonight's matchup.
