Ohhh, this one should be interesting. I actually just watched the Suns beat down the Pistons on ESPN. Shaq. Amare. Steve Nash. Jason Richardson. Need I say more. The Suns have a star-studded cast. So why are they only 28-21? I'm still trying to figure that out, and apparently so is the rest of their organization. It's only a matter of time before this team is blown up. Both Shaq AND Amare could be on the move in the next 11 days.

I couldn't be happier that all these Amare/Shaq trade rumors are flying around, because it might distract the Suns just enough to lay an egg in Philly tonight. Not to mention the fact that they are a really old team and they'll be playing the back end of a back-to-back. Pair that with a young, athletic, rested, hungry Sixers team and we have ourselves a ball game.

Since D'Antoni's departure, the Suns don't hit as many threes as they used to. That's good news for Sixers fans, seeing as how perimeter defense is arguably Philly's biggest weakness. They're attempting to run their offense through the washed-up, that's right Shaq, I'm calling you washed up, Shaquille O'Neal. I hope the diesel is ready to get owned by Sammy D again, because I have a feeling he, along with Reggie Evans, Theo Ratliff and M16 will bring their "A" games tonight. God knows the Sixers need it with Shaq, Amare and "Kung-Fu" Lou manning the blocks. Speaking of "Kung-Fu" Lou, I hope he gets a nice ovation tonight. He deserves it.

The Shaq/Amare combo is one of the biggest and baddest PF/C tandems in the league. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a change in the starting lineup tonight. I'd actually encourage it. I propose a lineup of Andre Miller, Andre Iguodala, Thad Young, Reggie/Speights and Sam. There is no way Thad can guard Amare, and it's not very smart to double off J-Rich or Steve Nash. Screw the whole "Iguodala can't play shooting guard" argument. I don't think the position he was playing was the reason he sucked earlier this year. Plus, is anyone opposed to getting Willie Green out of the game? I sure hope not.

I have two quick predictions.

1. A Philadelphia 76er finally scores 30 points tonight. I don't know who. I don't know how. But I have a really good feeling about it.

2. At some point during the game we'll get to see Speights vs. Amare for a 5-minute span, and we will all react like this when we see what M16 has in store for Amar'e with an apostrophe.

7 p.m. eastern time. Be here. I might be 5-10 minutes late, but don't panic. I wouldn't miss this for the world. I think it will be a real good one. Wink.
