Hopefully tonight's game goes nothing like the first two meetings between the Sixers and Celtics. The Sixers were blown out in each of them.
That said, this is a different Sixers team than the Celtics played in the previous two games. Minus that horrendous fourth quarter against the Nets, the Sixers have been ballin' over the past few weeks. Pair that with a missing Kevin Garnett and we could be looking at an upset. For goodness sake, Glen "Big Baby" Davis will be in the starting lineup.
I haven't heard anything on the Sixers lineup, but whether Brand starts or not, he should have a field day against "Big Baby".
I feel like a broken record, but the key to the game is whether or not the Sixers stop the Celtics' three-point barrage. Ray Allen, Paul Pierce and Eddie House can go off on any given night. And without Garnett their offense will be based solely on Rondo driving and kicking along with Paul Pierce isolations. Speaking of Paul Pierce, I hope Iguodala shows the world who is the true all-star tonight. Him vs. Pierce always seems to be a good matchup.
And maybe, just maybe the Celtics are looking ahead to their matchup with the Lakers on Thursday?
I'm off to Philosophy to learn philosophical things.
