8 in a row? Once again, I don't see why not. During our recent success we've beaten good teams, bad teams, fat teams, skinny teams. We've won at home. We've won on the road. We've blown teams out and won close games. I still haven't gotten word on whether Elton will play this game or not, but I have a gut-feeling that he'll return. He probably won't play much, but he could still be a distraction we don't need right now. Can't Elton just wait until this winning streak is over? Or when Andre Iguodala starts to suck again?
It will be way interesting to see what happens when Elton returns-if we'll keep playing well or go back to sucking, and if we go back to sucking what does Stefanski do? I'm on the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" bandwagon right now, but we can't just not play our "best player", so we'll see.
Josh Howard is questionable for the game, but the Sixers don't care. They ain't scared of J-Ho.
Perimeter defense is the key to the game. Surprise, surprise. I'll be flying in from San Diego to watch the recorded game, so I won't be here for the open thread, but this will be the final game thread I miss (for those of you that care), but I'll be able to watch it and put up a recap tomorrow night.
The game will mark the halfway point of the season. After the way we started the season 21-20 sound good to me.
Let's go Sixers!
