As you read this I'm probably participating in one of the following:
-Eating
-Dominating my cousin in... anything.
-Having a heated sports argument.
-Or fetching my older cousin a beer because of lost Madden bet.
All those things are fantastic, but this is a monster game and I'd much rather be watching it. No, my expectations are not back to the "Oh my God, the Sixers are going to be world champions!" level, but they continue to rise under coach DiLeo and the Brand-less Sixers. I don't expect the Sixers to win this game. I'm actually pretty sure they won't. Not many teams have been able to beat the champs this year, especially on their home court. Just one to be exact. Maybe, they look past the Sixers to the Lakers/Celtics showdown on Christmas? One can only hope.
How good would this guy look in a Sixer uniform. You can thank Billy King for squashing that possibility.
I'm just hoping the Sixers don't get blown out like last time and that the young guys produce. I want to see at least one Lou-to-Speights alley-oop.
It also doesn't help that almost my entire family are Celtics fans.
Check out CelticsBlog for probable celebration/pity for Sixers fans.
Let's go Sixers!
And I might not talk to anyone before Christmas so, if I don't, I, along with Willie "garbage" Green want to wish all of you a very merry Christmas.
