Things set up perfectly for the Sixers to record their fourth consecutive victory under coach DiLeo tonight against the Indiana Pacers. A lot of people are saying that the Sixers are a better team without Elton Brand. I'm not going to go that far, but one thing's for sure, they are a much more entertaining without him. Lou-Will, Marreese Speights and Thad Young look like quite the foundation to build around and the jury's still out on Andre Iguodala.
There's no reason the Sixers shouldn't win tonight's game. First off, the Pacers are 9-17. Secondly, it's in Philadelphia. And most importantly the Pacers will be extremely short-handed tonight.
For the second night in a row, Danny Granger, Marquis Daniels and Troy Murphy are expected to miss the game along with Mike Dunleavy.
That comes straight from the Indy Cornrows, the local Indiana Pacers blog. I highly recommend checking it out. It's a good read.
Let's go Sixers! I'll probably be around here for the first quarter or so, but I'll have to tape the rest because the Cowboys need me. Recap up later along with updates for how it's going to go down while I'm out of town.
