Fagan seems to believe Stefanski will hire the candidate with the most marketability rather than the best pure coaching candidate. This would be a huge mistake in my opinion. The instant-interest sparked by a guy like Laimbeer will only last so long.

It's easy to look at the good things Mitchell said and say, "Hey, this guy would be a great coach!" Just remember, EJ said a lot of "the right things" last year. Interesting case, nonetheless.
I just recently found out about Budenholzer because his name was mentioned in Jasner's article of candidates the Sixers are interested in.
Budenholzer has everything I want in the Sixers next head coach. He's young (39), he's been an assistant for a successful team (Spurs), and learned from one of the best coaches ever (Popovich). Seriously, what's not to like?
