Noel and Embiid are not injury prone

Noel and Embiid are not injury prone. At least not now. A injury in college should not lead to the injury prone label given to both Noel and Embiid.

My Sophomore year in High school i hurt my ankle playing basketball and had to miss a few games. That was the last injury I have had since then, and Im constantly playing basketball (*Mostly recreational). My point being that an injury doesn't mean that a particular player in injury prone.

I think Andrew Bynum really screwed us up. I mean since when did we become so conscious about a player being injury prone? When we hear a knee injury with a big man our minds jump to Greg Oden and Andrew Bynum. We rarely think of Garnett, Duncan, Ibaka, Aldredge, Love, Shaq, Howard. Guys that play through some minor stuff because there bodies can take it.

We traded a young all star point guard for A kid who will be in Europe for 2 more years and Noel. We paid a premium for him.
Have you ever bought a new car? When you first get it you're so protective of it. You dont want it to be scratched, no dirt, even the rain seems like a threat. But, at some point you have to drive it. You have to get behind the wheel because that is why you bought the car. To drive it around, to use it to its full ability.
Noel is our new car. we are so scared that he will get scratched, get some dirt on him, or even break down or into a crash that we are right now afraid to drive him. We want to bubble rap him and put a "fragile" sticker on him.
But the reality is, we dont know if he will be fragile. We dont know if Embiid will break down. We have to let them play, and if it comes out that they are injury prone, the sixers will appropriately adjust.

The sixers sure have thought of the injury risk. Thats why there are 3 centers (Sims, Noel, Embiid). Hinkie has accounted for the risk. Now lets enjoy watching these young sixers play.
