The Summer League has been an incredibly fun run so far for the Sixers. There's actually a lot of talent on this team.
Obviously- Nerlons and KJ will be making the roster this upcoming year (barring injury, knock on wood). So my question is, who else do you guys think deserve a shot at the final 15?
Personally, there's two that stick out to me. Casper Ware (who's been on the team already) has really impressed me as a pure scorer. He seems a little erratic at times still, but he's got a mentality that just screams "Let me score points". We need a guy like that.
The second is Ronald Roberts Jr. The dude has been absolutely beasting it so far. Gets rebounds, finishes at the rack. Obviously he's not the future or anything, but he could be a real nice role player in the future.
As for guys that shouldn't make it, even though others may believe they should, I have three in particular. Jeremi Grant unfortunately just doesn't look ready out there. He's got nice length, just doesn't do much out there. Think he needs some time to develop, he's just not ready yet. Travis Bader is a sharp shooter, but he just isn't a pro basketball player. That's just that. I wanted to believe he could be, but the answer is no. Finally, Arselan Kazemi just looks lost and kinda useless out there (though we've only seen 1 game so far out of him). He did get a few nice rebounds, but besides that, he doesn't seem to serve much of a purpose.
So, that's my little take, what do you guys think? Think I'm an idiot? Cool, let me know why. Agree? Perfect, give us your intake.
