Let me start off by saying I'm not some dreamer who thinks we can sign a few good players and suddenly go on a playoff run. I'm simply somebody who doesn't like to see wasted opportunities. I'm not sure what the exact number is, and truth be told I'm too lazy to even look it up, but the Sixers are way under the salary FLOOR... They have money, they should spend it. I'm honestly all for going after Lance Stephenson. Dude brings a little attitude to the team, worst case scenario, he can pad his stats here and we can try to flip him for something, even if it's less than his value. It's still better than the league simply taking the cash from us, or us overpaying all of our other players.
I'm definitely a little iffy on how the rules work with the salary cap, but I've heard you can even lose a draft pick if you don't reach the floor (apparently it happened to the T-wolves?). Somebody smart correct me if anything I'm saying is completely wrong.
Anyway, let me know what you guys think/ who we should try to go after.
I know there's nobody on the market who will make us a contender, but hey, let's not let this money go to waste.
