Is there any chance that Noel is just an absolute stud next year? Where would he have gone this year?

To be frank, I am a strictly pros only guy when it comes to sports. Meaning, I learn about the prospects as the draft gets closer, but I really don't follow college hoops that strictly where I would be in a position to make accurate predictions on lesser known prospects.

Amidst all this ambiguity surrounding Embiid and Saric, and even free agency, I sometimes forget that we basically have a rookie starting for us next year in Noel.

I know the deal: he's a defensive freak. I've heard most comparisons linking him to Joakim Noah. But his offense I hear is a real piece of work.

I can't stop thinking though, we basically have a number one draft pick starting his rookie season for us next season. That's exciting, right? I don't care what anyone says, after that draft, he should have been the number one pick.

Just wondering: is there any chance he comes and just takes the league by storm, becoming a top 5 or so center? Or is he just that limited offensively.

Think about how sweet it would be if we have Embiid and Saric waiting to be unleashed, and before they even set foot on the court Noel turns into a big surprise and an absolute stud. That would be so amazing.

Also, to put into context his skill for my naive college mind, where would he have gone in this year's draft (Assuming he was healthy)? I was just guessing blindly somewhere between 7 and 10, which I think is pretty good.
