I loved Carter WIlliams this entire year, he gave me hope for the future of this team. But what if there was a point guard going around pick 20 who was younger and just as good?
The first player was slightly better in passing, stealing and rebounding the basketball
The second player was a better scorer and committed less turnovers.
The first player is Michael Carter Williams last season at Syracuse, The second is Tyler ennis's first season at Syracuse.
Same team. Same coach, different year, different draft pick.
Carter Williams had a great rookie campaign and might end up being the best pick from a weak draft. But what could Carter williams fetch you this year? The 7th pick and
steve nash the bad contract that belongs to steve nash?
This is all I am saying, That Carter WIlliams might be at a high in value, and MCW could fetch the 7th pick. Thaddeus Young might get you a mid first round pick (14-19).
And Ennis has potential, He could be an all star caliber point guard.
So you might be concerned about the height of Ennis, and that is reasonable. But Ennis has a 6 foot 7 wingspan. That is more than enough for a point guard.
Could any of us really complain if the draft (according to ESPN) gave us a lineup of Ennis (16), Stauskus (Predicted at 15 but I really dont want Harris), Parker (3), Randall (7), Noel (6 last year). With Nash to be a player coach off the bench? All i know is that it would create a very young and exciting team in my opinion.
