Embiid injured, Sixers Draft-of-Destiny in serious jeopardy

A 'Breaking News' report just scrolled across ESPN's bottomline....indicating that Joel Embiid has injured his foot and likely broken it. For a player with injury concerns to begin with, to break your foot at this stage of the process will DEFINITELY hurt his draft stock. It depends on the seriousness of the break, what bone was afflicted, and if surgery is required....but this seems to me like the perfect reason for both the Cavs AND Bucks to openly choose to pass on Embiid.....Making the likelihood of the Sixers landing one of the two top wing-players in this draft (Parker and Wiggins) much MIUCH slimmer.

How does this affect Embiid's draft status? Does he slip like Nerlens did last year into the 5-10 range? Are the Sixers now stuck with Dante Exum as their best option at #3? Or does this mean that we may have to raise our offer to the Cavaliers to move up to number 1.....perhaps sacrificing the #3 and #10 to move to #1 is more of a reality now than it's ever seemed.

A black cloud has descended on the NBA Draft....and the Sixers look to be the biggest losers of these latest developments.
