Right now my feelings is that MC and Noel are NOT the franchise players. They are the complimentary players to the franchise player. Not to say they are not good players but that they are going to the players that will help the franchise player be the best he can be. They must continue to improve so that they can be like the Big 3 of the Spurs.
Who might that player be I don't know but that is the task of Sam Hinkie and his scouting department. Based on last year's draft I have good faith that he can get it done. Whether he finds the player at the #3 spot or have to package the #3 & #10 picks he must find that player. Without that star player the Sixers will NOT win multiple championships. They might be able to pull off a championship like the Pistons did 2004 but to pull off what the Heat and Spurs are doing they need to get the star player that has the burning desire to win like LeBron and Tim Duncan does.
Looking at the potential draftees I don't know if there is that franchise player. Wiggins is talented as hell but does he have the desire to be the best. Parker can be our scorer but will he put in the time to be a better defensive player? I am leaning more to Dante Exum since he was the "main man" on his Australian team and he has the athletic ability to be the go to scorer and defender. But Exum is insisting that he wants to be the PG instead of being the SG that can fill the need for the Sixers.
Best wishes to Sam Hinkie to solve this dilemma.
